Chain of Lakes

We will be paddling roughly 50 miles of the trail system, From Six Mile lake to Elk Rapids

Chain of Lakes Water Trail became one of the first eight state-designated water trails by the Michigan Department of Natural Resources. This is the only state-designated water trail in Northern Michigan and the only one on a lake-system

We are raising awareness and funds for Paddle Antrim, the lead non- profit that is working on this amazing water trail.

Paddle Antrim, founded in 2014, with a mission to protect water resources in the Chain of Lakes in Northern Michigan by using paddle sports to connect people to these waterways. Through stewardship, education, improved water trail access, and promotion of our waterways we will increase water resource protection
and enhance the economic vitality of the region.
